Mother in New York.
Mother is a meeting place for the world’s best creatives and the world’s most ambitious clients, founded in London in 1996 by a group of creative, free-thinking individuals sitting around a kitchen table eating lunch.
In 2003, Mother expanded beyond London, opening its first North American office in New York City. This gave way to the start of Mother Design and in 2021, we added Media by Mother to the family.
We offer a full range of creative services, including but not limited to: brand building, design, production, product development, brand incubation, content making, social activation, technology innovation, full-service media, PR, and whatever else we think of next, in service of solving big business problems with creativity.
Make Our Children Proud
They say kids are the best judge of character. We agree. That’s why everything we do is aimed at making the next generation proud. It influences who we work with, what we make, and how we make it, in order to become the most attractive destination for the next generation of the most creatively diverse people on the planet. It’s also why we have a limitless supply of Oreos in the office at all times.
Kindred is our global diversity, equity and inclusion platform that encompasses everything we do to make sure everyone is heard, understood and feels like they belong at Mother.
We took the Clean Creatives pledge vowing never to work with fossil fuel clients–because we don’t have time for that bs.
We <3 NY, and we <3 our neighborhood of Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn. And to show that love we started an investment partnership with local businesses to create Mother Special, an initiative that helps us be the best neighbors possible.
